Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya will help strengthen the nation, says Home Minister
"The main objective of Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya is to make our country more prosperous and strengthen our nation," says Home Minister Rajnath Singh. This Hindu ritual features 108 hawan kunds , 2,100 priests, and over 51,000 patriotic attendees. The apex community funding this event includes well-known names like Padam Chand Garg (Chairman, PC Jewellers), Rajeev Mittal (Director, RK Associates) , Amrit Singla (Chairman, Mapsko Builders), and Harish Popli (Director, Ambadeep estates). Rajnath Singh added, "It is not to pose a threat to any other country but to serve the rest of the world, and to ensure that India again takes the seat of Vishwa Guru (world leader/guider)." The Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya will be organised at Delhi, outside the lawns of the Red Fort. The mahayagya (big ritual) will be a week-long affair that will be held over March 18-25.
